Leaks have provided new details about the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro, showing a significant update. MacRumors has analyzed the leaks and created exclusive digital renders to showcase the size, look, feel, and physical interface of the new iPhone.

So, it seems that Apple is already working on the next generation of the iPhone, even though we’re still early in the iPhone cycle. According to a post by MacRumors, the iPhone 16 is expected to feature a new camera arrangement, with vertically aligned cameras.

Apple is focusing on spatial video and there are hints that this feature may be coming to the iPhone 16. The recent iOS 17.2 update allows the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max to capture spatial video using both main and ultrawide camera lenses.

If you happen to have an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max, you can now access a new feature in iOS 17.2. This feature is called Spatial Video, which is a brand new video recording format that works with Apple’s upcoming Vision Pro headset.

According to analyst Jeff Pu, the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro Max from Apple is expected to feature a 48-megapixel Telephoto lens. Pu made this prediction in a research note with the Hong Kong-based investment firm Haitong International Securities, focusing on Apple supplier Largan Precision.

The next generation of iPhones, possibly the iPhone 17 Pro Max, is rumored to feature a telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom. The iPhone 15 Pro Max was the first in Apple’s lineup to have a telephoto camera with a five-fold optical zoom based on a tetraprism module.

iPhone 17 Pro Max may come with a 48MP periscope telephoto camera, according to analyst Jeff Pu. This camera upgrade is expected to be optimized for use with Apple’s Vision Pro augmented reality headset.

Apple has announced that spatial video capture is now available for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max as part of the iOS 17.2 update. This feature allows users to record 3D videos in full HD resolution and 30 frames per second.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max, set to be launched in fall 2025, is rumored to feature a 48 MP telephoto camera optimized for use with the upcoming Vision Pro headset. Details about the optimization are not mentioned in the report.
