Apple Introduces New iMac with M4, Powered by Apple Intelligence and Available in Vibrant Colors

Apple has unveiled its latest iMac featuring the powerful M4 chip, enhanced with Apple Intelligence technology, offering an impressive upgrade in performance and an ultra-thin, vibrant design. With up to 1.7 times faster productivity performance and 2.1 times faster capabilities in intensive applications like photo editing and gaming, this iMac redefines Apple’s desktop experience.

The M4 chip delivers a major leap in daily productivity, making tasks like multitasking and web browsing up to 1.7 times faster than previous models. Additionally, with a more powerful GPU and an enhanced Neural Engine, the iMac is now the world’s best all-in-one for artificial intelligence tasks, thanks to Apple Intelligence—an advanced personal intelligence system designed to elevate user interaction and preserve privacy. The iMac supports a 12MP Center Stage camera with Desk View, perfect for video calls, and includes options for up to four Thunderbolt 4 ports and a new nano-texture glass display.

Apple Intelligence introduces transformative features such as Writing Tools for text enhancement and an upgraded Siri capable of understanding both spoken and typed requests. As it evolves, Apple Intelligence will include additional tools like Image Playground and Genmoji. With the incorporation of ChatGPT within Siri, users can access extensive information without switching apps. Security and privacy are prioritized, with on-device processing for core functions and Private Cloud Compute for more complex tasks, offering unique protections for personal data.

The new iMac stands out visually with seven striking colors: green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver. Each iMac also comes with matching accessories, including a color-matched Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse. The display, a 24-inch 4.5K Retina screen, now offers an option for nano-texture glass, reducing glare and improving usability in bright environments.

Running on macOS Sequoia, the iMac includes features such as iPhone Mirroring for wireless iPhone interaction, a redesigned Safari browser, and Distraction Control for a more focused browsing experience. The Passwords app consolidates credential management, and an enhanced gaming mode and spatial audio provide immersive entertainment options.

The iMac with M4, available for pre-order starting at AED 5,499, is expected to be available in stores and through Apple Authorized Resellers on November 8, 2024.
