Apple's Gurman suggests early 2024 release for Vision Pro

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has reported that Apple is on track to release its Apple Vision Pro headset in early 2024, with the company aiming for a January launch. Gurman states that Apple has scheduled training sessions for retail store employees in January to prepare for the launch. The setup process for the Vision Pro headset will be complex, as it needs to be customized for each user to ensure a good fit. It is likely that customers will be encouraged to pick up the device at a store rather than having it shipped. Retail locations will soon receive equipment to assemble and package the headset, indicating that the launch is nearing. The mixed-reality headset, made from laminated glass and an aluminum alloy frame, features advanced cameras and sensors for a mixed-reality experience and delivers Spatial Audio through speakers positioned near the user’s ears.
