Apple Vision Pro launch imminent as employees receive specialized training
Apple is preparing for the launch of its highly anticipated mixed-reality headset, the Vision Pro. As part of the preparations, Apple Store staff are receiving training on how to present and demonstrate the device to customers. The training seminars are scheduled to start in January, with a few staff members from each U.S. Apple Store being sent to Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino for a two-day training session. The training is described as a “high-stakes endeavor” because the setup process for the Vision Pro is complex and crucial for a good user experience. While customers will be able to order the headset online, they may be encouraged to pick it up at a store to receive a hands-on demonstration. The Vision Pro is expected to start shipping in the first quarter of 2024.
