Apple's Highly Anticipated Vision Pro Headset Now in Mass Production, Emphasizes its Crucial Role in the Company's Product Lineup for the Coming Year

An earlier report claimed that the Apple Vision Pro mixed-reality headset would start shipping in February next year. However, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, if the current schedule is maintained, the device will be stocked in stores starting in late January. Kuo believes that the Apple Vision Pro will be Apple’s most important product for 2024, and estimates shipments at half a million units for that year. The first batch of shipments is expected to arrive in late January or early February. Kuo’s shipment estimate is lower than previous reports, but he believes that a positive user experience will drive demand for the product. Apple has chosen retail employees to undergo training on the premium AR headset, which will start in January and last for two days. This training will prepare employees to approach customers and encourage them to try out the Apple Vision Pro. The headset will only be available through an appointment system, and initially, only U.S.-based customers will have access to it. Apple hopes to expand to other markets in the future.
