The design of the cover matches the headband of the Vision Pro headset and is made of a soft-touch woven fabric. It covers the front and sides of the headset but not the back or Light Seal. The cover is likely designed to protect the headset’s EyeSight display from scratches and other damage and features a tab for easy removal. Another design patent filed by Apple is for a Vision Pro battery, which some websites have incorrectly identified as a new MagSafe battery pack. This patent confirms that the battery unit’s cable is removable.
