Dual Availability of Tetraprism Telephoto Lens on iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max

Recently, MacRumors received information that Apple plans to include the tetraprism telephoto lens on both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max in 2024. This aligns with claims made by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and a report from The Elec. The iPhone 15 Pro Max already features a tetraprism telephoto camera, which allows for up to 5x optical zoom. However, the iPhone 15 Pro did not have this feature due to spatial constraints. With the iPhone 16 Pro, Apple intends to increase the device sizes to accommodate the tetraprism camera. Internal documentation shows that the camera module of the iPhone 16 Pro bears resemblance to that of the iPhone 15 Pro Max. It’s important to note that this information is pre-production and could be subject to changes.
