The Latest iPhone 16 Camera Leak will Surprise You with Exciting News
2023 says goodbye and does so in style, with great news. Some clues have already been dropped on Ming-Chi Kuo’s blog: the most basic iPhone 16 will inherit a function that until now was exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. We are talking about the tetraprism, the sensor that uses the optical stabilization of the photographic sensor and other technological facets of the camera to establish itself as the best of 2023. This camera allows shooting a photo using the 5x zoom looks spectacular with an imperceptible quality degradation.
Apparently, this movement responds to a question of stock availability. The “tetraprism” of the iPhone 15 Pro Max is not exactly coming cheap: manufacturing the CCM modules cost the company 20% more than it had cost during the first half of the year. However, this issue by Largan Precision Co. has been resolved and the obstacles in production have already been solved, improving performance by 40 to 70%.
Information leaked and found in the source code of the new iOS 18 operating system leaves no room for doubt: the new iPhone 16, internally called Crystal, will enjoy the same advantages as the praised iPhone 15 Pro Max. That doesn’t mean the improvements don’t scale within the larger family. In fact, it seems that during 2024 we will see four iPhone 16 models on the market:
D47 – iPhone 16 D48 – iPhone 16 Plus D93 – iPhone 16 Pro D94 – iPhone 16 Pro Max
And what about, for example, the iPhone 16 Ultra? That is not part of the company’s plans. The super high-end model, as it is usually called, will continue to carry the Pro Max surname, although this time it will have a series of exclusive improvements that have not yet been revealed. On the other hand, The iPhone 16 will mount a new SoC (system-on-chip) called Tahiti. This is nothing but the code name of the very powerful A18 processor, which will be present in the four aforementioned models.
This good news is added to others, such as the action button, which will also be present in all models. This haptic button can be programmed to perform dozens of different functions.
For its part, it is expected to see screens with a diagonal ranging from 6.3 to 6.9 inches, with an OLED panel mounted by Samsung, the aforementioned tetraprism camera with a 5x telephoto lens present in the iPhone 16, along with an ultra camera 48-megapixel wide angle and an alleged new button dedicated exclusively to video recording compatible with the spatial video and audio benefits of the new Apple Vision Pro.
