Latest updates: Ikea introduces new sensor technology, Ecobee doorbell gets an upgrade, and more news

Ikea launched new sensors this week, including a contact sensor, leak sensor, and motion sensor. These sensors will work with Ikea’s new hub and eventually with Matter.

Ecobee also released an update for its smart video doorbell, adding activity alert functionality. This feature allows users to receive smart alerts on their devices, including Apple TV, when motion is detected.
