Apple Offers Free Repair Program for iPhone 14 Plus Rear Camera Issue
Apple launches free repair program to address rear camera preview problem in some iPhone 14 Plus models
Apple recently introduced a service program to address a specific issue affecting the rear camera in some iPhone 14 Plus devices. The company reported that “a very small percentage” of these models, produced between April 10, 2023, and April 28, 2024, may experience a problem where the rear camera fails to display a preview.
Owners of an iPhone 14 Plus with this camera issue may be eligible for a free repair under the program. To check eligibility, users can enter their phone’s serial number into a form provided on Apple’s service program webpage. Qualified users can then bring their device to an authorized repair center, visit an Apple Store, or arrange for a mail-in repair.
It is important to note that this program exclusively covers the rear camera preview issue on iPhone 14 Plus devices. Other camera-related issues or different iPhone models are not included in this specific service initiative.
