iPhone 17 Pro Expected to Feature Aluminium Frame and Camera Upgrades

Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro, set to launch in 2025, is rumoured to feature an aluminium frame, enhanced camera specs, and the A19 Pro chip.

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Pro, slated for release in September 2025, is expected to bring several notable design, performance, and camera improvements. Leaks suggest the device will feature an aluminium frame, moving away from the titanium material used in earlier models. The rear panel is likely to combine aluminium and glass, offering a fresh look, while a rectangular camera bump is anticipated to provide a slightly different aesthetic.

Additionally, the iPhone 17 Pro may introduce new colour options, potentially replacing the titanium-themed shades from previous iterations. The phone is expected to be powered by the A19 Pro chip, built on TSMC’s 3nm process, which should boost performance and energy efficiency. The device could also come with 12GB of RAM, an upgrade from the 8GB on the iPhone 16 Pro, enhancing multitasking capabilities and overall performance.

On the camera front, the iPhone 17 Pro is rumoured to feature a 48MP telephoto lens, replacing the 12MP sensor found in its predecessor. The front-facing camera may also see an upgrade, with a 24MP sensor possibly making its way into the device, improving the quality of selfies and video calls.

The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to launch in September 2025, with pricing likely to start at $1,099 in the US. In India, it could begin at Rs 1,19,000, while in Dubai, the starting price may be AED 4,299. While these details are based on leaks, Apple has yet to officially confirm any of the information. Potential buyers will need to wait for the official announcement for more clarity.
