Apple to Launch iPhone 17 Pro Series with Aluminum Frames in 2025

Apple is preparing to launch the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max in the latter half of 2025, marking the next evolution in its flagship smartphone series. The new models are expected to depart from their titanium predecessors by adopting aluminum frames, a material traditionally reserved for standard iPhone models. This design shift is notable as it aligns the Pro models more closely with the standard lineup, potentially creating a unified aesthetic across all iPhone tiers.

The Pro models are anticipated to feature a back panel composed of aluminum and glass, with a larger camera bump compared to the current iPhone 16 Pro. The lower half of the back will retain a glass design to facilitate wireless charging. These changes indicate a clear emphasis on both functionality and durability in Apple’s upcoming lineup.

In addition to the Pro versions, Apple will introduce the iPhone 17 Plus, which is rumored to be slimmer than its predecessors.
