Only a few days after the launch of the iPhone 15 series, leaks about the iPhone 16 have already started surfacing. However, there are now reports about changes coming to the iPhone 17 series, specifically in terms of its camera. It is being rumored that the iPhone 17 Pro model will feature a 48-megapixel camera. This information was disclosed by analyst Jeff Poo, known for breaking news related to Apple’s supply chain. It is speculated that this update may be related to Apple Vision Pro.
The iPhone 17 series is still two years away, as Apple follows its annual release pattern. However, there is significant news regarding the iPhone 17 Pro model. According to Macromers, the camera of this phone will come equipped with a 48-megapixel telephoto lens. This would make it the first Apple phone to have a complete camera system. Currently, the iPhone 15 Pro has a 48-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. With the arrival of iOS 17.2, the phone can now also record special videos specifically for Vision Pro playback.
In addition to the iPhone 17 updates, there have also been leaks regarding the iPhone 16. A recent report suggests that all models in the iPhone 16 series will feature an action button. This button is expected to become even more powerful in the upcoming series, with the company adding more features to it. Interestingly, the action button currently functions like a mechanical key, but there are plans to make it capacitive like a touch panel in the next series. It has been codenamed Atlas, and it may also be available in different sizes depending on the model.
