Apple iPhone SE 4 to Feature 48MP Camera and OLED Display

Apple’s upcoming iPhone SE 4 is expected to make its global debut in March 2025, bringing significant upgrades to the budget-friendly series. According to reliable industry sources, the phone will feature a 48MP rear camera and an OLED display, marking a departure from the previous SE models with their LCD screens. The news follows multiple leaks and rumors regarding the phone’s specifications, which are now being confirmed by production details from Apple’s manufacturing partners.

LG Innotek and LG Display, alongside other regular Apple suppliers such as BOE, are reportedly manufacturing the components for the iPhone SE 4. LG Innotek has already begun producing the camera modules at a factory in Vietnam, further validating earlier reports about the device’s features and expected release timeline.

The iPhone SE 4 is rumored to sport a single 48MP wide-angle rear camera. This is expected to be paired with a 12MP front-facing sensor, which will handle selfies and video calls. This camera setup is similar to the one found on the iPhone 16, minus the ultrawide lens. Apple’s 48MP camera, which it brands as a “Fusion” lens, is designed to work for both standard and 2x zoom shots, offering a versatile photography experience.

In terms of design, the iPhone SE 4 will likely adopt a full-display layout similar to that of the iPhone 14.
