iPhone SE 4 Set for Likely March Launch with Enhanced Camera Module
Apple’s iPhone SE 4 expected in March, featuring larger display and upgraded camera module.
Reports suggest that Apple’s upcoming iPhone SE 4 is moving closer to its anticipated launch, likely around March, as new details indicate that the phone’s camera module will enter mass production in December. According to South Korean site AjuNews, LG Innotek, a long-time supplier of Apple’s camera components, is slated to begin mass-producing the iPhone SE 4’s camera modules next month. Typically, Apple orders these components about three months before a device’s release, supporting projections of an early spring launch for the iPhone SE 4.
This timeline aligns with recent leaks, including claims from reliable Apple source Mark Gurman, who suggested a release window between March and June.
Further leaks reveal notable design and hardware upgrades for the iPhone SE 4. A larger 6.1-inch display is expected, a size increase from the 4.7-inch screen on the iPhone SE (2022). However, it remains unclear if the new model will feature a notch or adopt the Dynamic Island design seen on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 series. Either way, this represents a significant visual update to the SE line.
Additional improvements include the possible use of Apple’s A17 Pro chipset and an increase to 8GB of RAM, which would greatly boost performance over previous SE models. The phone is anticipated to include a single-lens camera setup, consistent with Apple’s approach to the SE series.
While these details are not yet confirmed by Apple, the steady flow of supply chain information indicates that the iPhone SE 4 will arrive with notable enhancements, providing users with a more powerful and contemporary option in Apple’s more affordable smartphone lineup.
