Despite holding the largest market share for Apple’s iPhone camera modules, this strategic decision appears focused on upgrading equipment to meet the demands of Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro series rather than expanding production capacity.

However, reports indicate that Apple may introduce a new model, tentatively referred to as the iPhone 17 Air. This model is expected to emphasize a slim design and advanced aesthetics, potentially making it one of the thinnest iPhones ever. Despite its sleek appearance, the iPhone 17 Air may come with trade-offs, such as a single-camera setup, and could still carry a price tag higher than some of Apple’s premium multi-camera models like the Pro Max.
