MKBHD Smartphone Awards 2023: iPhone 15 Pro Takes Home Top Prize for Best Camera
YouTuber Marques Brownlee has selected the iPhone 15 Pro as the winner of the best camera category in MKBHD’s Smartphone Awards 2023. Brownlee praised the iPhone 15 Pro for its solid all-round performance and ease of use when taking photos and videos. He particularly highlighted the quality of video recorded on the iPhone 15 Pro, calling it the best and most consistent in various situations. The iPhone 15 Pro also captured the best low-light photos in MKBHD’s blind smartphone camera test. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra received an honorable mention for its zoom lens performance. The iPhone 15 Plus won the best battery category in the awards. MKBHD praised its less power-hungry 60Hz display, which allows the device to have great battery life. The ROG Phone 7 was also recognized for its impressive battery capacity of 6000 mAh. The Phone of the Year title went to the Google Pixel 8. Brownlee praised its stills camera, display quality, software features, and the promise of software updates for seven years.
