Zoom introduces a new Apple TV meeting app that utilizes your iPhone as a camera

You can now use Zoom on your 2nd gen or later Apple TV 4K. The “Zoom - for Home TV” app recently appeared in the tvOS App Store. Apple’s tvOS 17 update earlier this year enabled Continuity Camera for the Apple TV, allowing users to use their iPhone or iPad as a webcam for FaceTime on a TV. The same functionality applies to meetings on macOS. Setting up Zoom on Apple TV is straightforward. You can either visit a pairing URL on your phone and enter a code displayed on the TV, or manually enter your credentials on the screen. Once logged in, you can connect your phone to the TV. If the Apple TV is shared among multiple users, it will show a list of accounts with nearby devices. After selecting the desired account, you will receive a notification on your phone to accept the connection. The Zoom App Store listing mentions that the Apple TV app will have features such as starting or joining meetings, inviting people, and viewing in-meeting chats. Although a page for a similar app is available for Android OS and Sky TVs, Zoom hasn’t documented the Apple TV app on its site yet. Nonetheless, it’s a convenient feature for those working from home or in office meeting rooms with minimal setup.
