Now you can have Zoom calls from the comfort of your couch with this innovative Apple TV app

The Apple TV platform now has a new Zoom meetings app that allows Apple TV 4K users to use their iPhone or iPad as a webcam for Zoom meetings on their TV. This was made possible with the latest Apple tvOS 17 update, which integrated the Continuity Camera feature into the Apple TV. Although Apple announced the integration, the Zoom meeting app was only recently launched. With the new Zoom meetings app, users can participate in video calls from the comfort of their couch and make video conferences with multiple people easier by sitting around a TV. Logging into the Zoom for Home TV app on Apple TV is a similar experience to logging into Zoom elsewhere. Users can access their account with their credentials, use their mobile device to log in, or skip the login process altogether. To use Continuity Camera, users need to give the app permission to access their device’s camera and microphone. It is suggested to prop up the iPhone or iPad with a stand or tripod mount to capture the right angle. Additionally, Apple had already added FaceTime to Apple TV with the Continuity Camera integration, allowing users to hold video calls through their Apple TV 4K device. The Continuity Camera feature lets users use the camera and microphone on their iPhone and iPad as a webcam, providing higher-quality video and audio during video calls.
